Day 1 — Monday, June 2

Arrival & Check-In

Receive gift bag, get directed to color group staging area

Camp Kickoff: "First Whistle"

Welcome from camp leadership, intro coaches & Tarleton crew, then full-camp high-energy competition — all 200 kids on the mat, crew vs. crew

9:45–11:15 AM

Session 1: Technique Rotations

Three 30-min rotations through all 3 coaching stations (~67 kids per station). Coaches: Nasir + Finn · Jordan + Dalton · Jesse + Tarleton crew

11:15–11:30 AM

Break

Hydrate & regroup. Merch stand open

11:30 AM–1:00 PM

Session 2: Technique Rotations

Same rotation structure, new techniques. Six distinct training blocks across the day

1:00–2:00 PM

Lunch Break

One hour. Merch stand open. DJ keeps the room alive

2:00–3:00 PM

King of the Mat

Crew vs. crew competition. Matchups within weight groupings. Multiple mats running, DJ scoring the atmosphere

King of the Mat results announced. Preview Day 2

Camp Social at Firehouse Gastro Park

Optional evening social in Grand Prairie for parents, coaches, families & clinicians. Casual — community building

Arrival & Bracket Review

Check in, find brackets on the board. Final raffle ticket sales at merch stand

Open Mat

Clinicians take the floor, campers run the session. Kids & parents call out what they want to learn — personal, interactive, on-demand coaching from D1 athletes

10:15–10:30 AM

Tournament Warm-Ups

Groups warm up together. Tarleton crew leads dynamic warm-ups

10:30 AM–12:30 PM

Takedown Tournament: Prelims & Quarters

1-minute matches on 6 mats. Brackets from pre-sorted weight/age groups. Projector displays live bracket updates

12:30–1:15 PM

Lunch Break

Semifinal matchups posted. Last call on raffle tickets. Merch stand final push

1:15–2:15 PM

Semifinals & Finals

Semis on 2–3 mats. Finals on center mat with full camp watching. DJ walkout music, clinician commentary on mic

2:15–3:00 PM

Awards Ceremony & Camp Closing

Tournament medals/plaques for 1st–3rd. Raffle drawing (signed singlet, wrestling shoes, free next-camp registration, custom gear). XOXO Reece closing moment. Group photo — all 200 campers on the mats
